The Symphony Of Consciousness

The non-local unified field of Consciousness ( is )the ground of all experience—the fundamental reality whose excitations give rise to everything that appears.

When the heart ascends beyond form, lifting Muḥammad and Aḥmad past the veil of the *meem (م) *, the letter of corporeal density and worldly enclosure—what remains is Aḥad: the indivisible Reality, the ground from which all experience arises and to which it returns

Visual Journey

The Landscape of Consciousness

Rigorous Intellectual Inquiry (Mapping the Territory)

Measure: Conceptual clarity

  • Study philosophy of mind (Eastern & Western), neuroscience, physics, and metaphysics.
  • Key questions: What is awareness? Is consciousness produced or fundamental?
  • Outcome: You can clearly articulate multiple models of consciousness without emotional attachment to any one.

You know you’ve completed this step when you can explain consciousness from at least three different frameworks.

Direct Experiential Practice (Turning Inward)

Measure: Stability of awareness

  • Engage in meditation, dhikr, contemplation, or self-inquiry.
  • Observe thoughts, sensations, emotions as objects appearing in awareness.
  • Outcome: You begin to distinguish consciousness itself from mental content.

You know you’ve progressed when awareness remains present even as thoughts change.

Spiritual–Ethical Integration (Embodied Consciousness)

Measure: Transformation of character

  • Align behavior, intention, and ethics with insight (compassion, humility, presence).
  • Practice surrender, service, and remembrance.
  • Outcome: Consciousness is no longer an idea—it reshapes how you live and relate.

You know this step is active when reactions soften and inner spaciousness increases.

Modern Synthesis & Realization (Unified Understanding)

Measure: Non-contradiction

  • Integrate science, spirituality, and lived experience into one coherent vision.
  • Consciousness is understood as both subject and field, not owned by the individual.
  • Outcome: The question “What is consciousness?” dissolves into being conscious.

You know this step is mature when explanation becomes secondary to presence.

Journey Through the Stage of Consciousness

"I was a hidden treasure and I wished to be known, so I created creation that I might be known"

IDENTIFYING AS THE SELF

I AM THIS

Consciousness identified with body, mind, ego, and story.

  • Thoughts and emotions define identity

  • Separation feels real

  • Fear, desire, and control dominate perception

Experiences recycle and reinforce identity.

RECOGNIZING THE WITNESS (ASH-SHAHID)

I AM AWARE

Awareness steps back and observes experience.

  • Thoughts are seen, not believed

  • Emotions are felt, not obeyed

  • The Witness emerges

Some episodes dissolve when witnessed.

REALIZING AWARENESS ITSELF

I AM AWARENESS

Awareness stabilizes as the ground of experience.

  • Experience arises within awareness

  • Presence becomes the default state

  • Observer and observed begin to merge

Experiences dissolve into presence upon arrival.

IDENTIFYING AS THE SELF

I AM THIS

Consciousness identified with body, mind, ego, and story.

  • Thoughts and emotions define identity

  • Separation feels real

  • Fear, desire, and control dominate perception

Experiences recycle and reinforce identity.

RESOLVING INTO THE ABSOLUTE

I AM

Formless, non-dual being.

  • No observer

  • No witnessed

  • Pure presence

No collapse required. Nothing remains unresolved.

The Qur'anic Consciousness Framework

From Origination to Transformation and Return

A Qur'anic-metaphysical architecture of consciousness — from created existence and conscious knowing, through Divine guidance and agency, to transformation and return.

The Book

Consciousness and Islam

CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE DIVINE DESIGN OF ALLAH

In this book, reality is not presented as a singular, conclusive image. Instead, it is explored through a multitude of perspectives—each one intentionally selected, not to fragment truth, but to deepen our encounter with it.

Sharing My MoC7 Presentation for With You All

Before sharing my MoC7 presentation, I would like to briefly share the history and evolution of the Models of Consciousness (MoC) conference.

The Models of Consciousness (MoC) series began with a vision to bring together researchers who were exploring consciousness from different disciplines—mathematics, theoretical physics, philosophy, psychology, computer science, and computational science.

The inaugural conference, MoC1, was held in 2019 at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford.
